Apart from being one of the most ductile metals on earth, even at higher temperatures, Nickel 200 Square Bar could be easily welded. The WERKSTOFF NR. 2.4066 Flat Bars can be fabricated with ease as well. Conventional welding practises used on austenitic stainless steel grades can be used by the 200 Nickel Alloy Cold Drawn Round Bars including an inert gas technique and resistance welding method.
Also, another similarity the Nickel Alloy 200 Forged Bar shares with austenitic stainless steel grades are that both alloys neither require a preheating treatment nor post-weld heat treatment. This proves to be useful for buyers who invest in the nickel alloy ni-200 hot rolled round bar, without having to worry about performing a welding operation that is non-traditional and far more expensive. Being a commercially pure grade, this wrought Nickel 200 Round Bar is a solid solution strengthened alloy. The Nickel Alloy 200 Rod also has good magnetic and magnetostrictive properties. B160 UNS N02200 Bright Bars is a good conductor of both heat and electricity.

The commercially pure nickel 200 alloy has up to 99.6% nickel in its composition. It is expensive material and is used in specific applications. The material can come in pipes, tubes bars and rods. The bars can be produced by forging or cold rolling. The hot forging is done by forming the bars from single billet material to the desired shape. The cold rolled bars are rolled and drawn under room temperature to the desired shapes. The hot forged bars are stronger than the cold rolled ones but the cold rolled bars are dimensionally accurate than the hot forged bars.
