For a start, the JIS NW 6022 Hot Rolled Plates is one such alloy that has unmatched resistance to corrosion in oxidizing aqueous environments. Typically these environments contain compounds like wet chlorine or a mixture that contains nitric acid and chloride ions, which are highly corrosive. The ASME SB575 Hastelloy Alloy C22 Strip can be used for marine applications as well. This is because in marine environments, the Werkstoff No 2.4602 Coils has the ability to resist getting affected to chlorine stress related corrosion cracking.

 

The general resistance to corrosion is another property that makes the ASTM B575 UNS N06022 Cold Drawn Plate valid for use in upset conditions. Moreover, in those industries, where upset conditions are predominant, the Hastelloy C22 Plate is exposed to both oxidative and reductive conditions. Thickness and sizes difference between Alloy c22 and c22 sheet

The alloy c22 pipes, bars and sheets have different dimensions. The pipes and bars can range from 3mm to 800mm in diameter and more depending on custom order sizes. The wall thicknesses range from 1mm to 100mm as well. The lengths of the bars depend on the manufacturer and customer but they usually range up to 6000mm. The sheets on the other hand have thickness limitations. The sheets are less than 3mm in thickness. They could be square rectangular or rolled. So the width and length differ. They can come in rolled standard sizes or in cut to sizes as well.
